Haven’t seen one of these around for awhile. Mark 1’s have the checkered grips and lanyard ring, No identifying marks except serial number, which is unique to Mark 1’s.
Back of grip is engraved with
W. O. Bell
Dundee
There is a UK soldier buried in Israel with mostly the same name and originating area.
Bore is in excellent condition, cylinder locks up pretty good., finish is very good. Slight wobble at hinge which is common to the Mark 1’s
Chambered in .476 Webley (basically same as .455)
5500 OBO
