Antique Teasdale big bore percussion shotgun 8 bore

This is an antique black powder 8 bore shotgun by Joseph Teasdale and sons. The  were in business in Durham City from 1815 to 1896. 

These larger bore guns are fairly rare. It's a huge bore almost the diameter of a loonie.  The gun has some good weight to it, would have been a beast in its day.
