I just finished up this blunderbuss last week.
It was destined for a client the US, but the tariff nonsense kinda threw a wrench in the works, so I'm listing it here instead.
It is stocked in a fantastic piece of black walnut.
The barrel is an octagon to round 11 ga (.75 caliber) 14 1/8" long, made by Jack Garner of TVM. It has been browned.
It has an L&R Queen Anne lock that has a French grey finish like the rest of the steel parts.
The lock sparks like crazy!
All of the brass has been lightly patinated (I could also polish it back to shiny if wished)
It is a super compact piece measuring just 29" overall with a 13 1/4" length of pull.
It's definitely a conversation starter, a big boomer and just a cool piece of firearm history.
Imagine dropping a moose at 15 yds with it!!
The weight is 5lb (2.27 kg)
It is handmade by myself, and in unfired condition.
Here is the thread where I discuss building it.
For an additional fee, I could add sling swivels and a leather sling.
