Selling a beautiful original early India Pattern Brown Bess .75cal musket. Excellent mechanical condition and is fully functional. I have fired it quite a lot and shoots as well as any musket does. The finish on the stock is original and still very strong. It has dings and dents but is one of the nicest originals I have seen. The bore is quite pristine with no pitting at all and is mirror bright. Even has what appears to be the original leather sling in decent though somewhat dry condition. Very fine gun!
Maximum I have shot is 130gr. 2FG with an 1170gr. projectile. Will include about 80 count .715dia 570gr. balls and have lead shot for a local buyer as well (patterns quite decent as a shotgun at closer ranges). Many flints included.
$3400 or make a reasonable offer.
And shipping is on the buyer. The unit is very long and heavy and the lead balls weigh half what the gun does. Shipping will be pricy.
