This sweet little rifle has a a 24” octagonal barrel with a 1:48” twist so is suitable for full bore-sized bullets, saboted bullets, and patched round balls. Style is kind of a "modernized Hawken", so to speak.

It is a really nice little bush gun, weighing about 6lbs, with a wooden stock, rubber recoil pad and strong synthetic ramrod (built in jag and threaded for tools - 10/32). This is definitely better than fussing with wooden ramrods! It has a sling and the "Lite Optic" sights really help in gloomy tree cover.

She's been through the woods a few times, and has a couple of dings - nothing major. Photos show some examples. The bore is in good shape, and never had problems with her not sparking (according to Traditions it's got one of their improved locks - no  I'm not sure exactly what that means!). Only selling to fund a gun for reenactment!

She comes bundled with a leather shooting bag (with plenty of compartments, but a few dings and marks); short starter, vent pick, a traditions manual, a couple of synthetic "flints", a handful of real flints which should fit, a open but pretty full box of .490 round balls and a few unopened packets of pre-lubricated patches. Not quite all you need to get going, but close!

Happy to ship anywhere on your dollar!
After several questions - yes, I will consider trades. BUT only interested in matchlock, doglock, wheel-lock or early styles of flintlock. I reenact the 1600s (and occasionally dabble in the very early 1700s) so it would need to be suitable for that. Indian made guns with undrilled vents also considered.
