This Percussion Coach Gun came straight from Britain because that is where I purchased it in Warwick (1984). 17 ga. (.650 Bore) X 24 “ barrel smooth bore.. In the shop it was marked "landed gentry” These individuals, many of whom were also “titled noblemen”, held significant wealth and influence through their control of land and agricultural production.  Walnut stock polished furniture lock has engraved “Patent”.
