This 1816 was made in 1838, and converted to percussion in the 1850s. The musket is in poor condition, but can be restored with many parts sourced from the USA. It is in original .69 caliber.
The bayonet is an original 1816 pattern bayonet, though not original to this musket. Will require some fitment. Bayonet is worth more than the rifle.
Only reason for selling is I have changed jobs, and have too many projects on the go. As the title says, shipping is on me. Will entertain trade offers!
