The Rasheed (or Rashid) is a semi-automatic carbine, derived from the Hakim Rifle and used by the Egyptian military. Only around 8,000 were made.
The Rasheed is a smaller version of the Hakim/Ljungman action, the third and last to be based on the Ljungman's DGI system that dated from the 1940's. It is also the only one in the family to have a charging handle.
