Winchester 1876 octagon rifle in 40-60 made 1886

This 1876 rifle is a really honest,solid,untouched all original example. Not a clunker or typical ruff fixed one we usually see. In 40-60 caliber. Made 1886 with factory search sheet, 28 inch octagon barrel. Bore is very  nice with strong rifling and  shine, not a dark sewer pipe. Ive shot this rifle and it shoots perfectly. Both sights are factory original,rear sight is marked 1876. Clear caliber marking and barrel address. Metal is original, untouched, no pitting or cleaning.  Some original blue left, more in protected areas. Screws are very nice,not mangled. Loading gate has traces of nitre blue left. Dust cover catches and slides back firm. Not wobbly or loose. It levers very nice, smooth with no issues. Lever snaps up tight with no droop or looseness. Brass lifter is a nice original untouched mustard patina, not cleaned or buffed. It has a crisp clear 40-60 caliber marking. Top brass lifter edges are sharp and not hammered or dented. Original Wood is very good with some nice grain, not sanded or undersized.no breaks or repairs ,   No large chips around tang areas. 

Overall a really solid untouched 1876
