Main Description: Manufactured 1876, Shipped December 2nd 1878. USA Antique. Blade front sight, u notched ladder rear sight with two leafs, octagon barrel, dust cover with checkered thumb pad, checkered spur hammer, saddle ring and stud. Two piece wood stocks, straight grip, smooth curved steel butt plate with brass trap, small hole in bottom of stock, full length magtube.
Wear: Metal finish turning brown with light pitted spots, rust speckles, scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show marks, scratches and wear.
