Up for sale is a beautiful example of a WWII Italian Carcano M91/41 Infantry Rifle. This rifle was manufactured by FAT (Terni) in 1942.
Condition:
• Stock: The wood is in exceptional condition, appearing almost unissued. It is very clean with only a few minor handling marks. No cracks or deep gouges.
• Bore: The bore is in excellent condition with strong, sharp rifling.
• Action: Smooth action.
Numbers & History:
This is a Receiver and Stock Matching rifle (Serial #AC 6003), which is becoming harder to find as many M41s were refurbished or mixed post-war. The factory cartouches on the stock are still visible.
The bolt is non-matching to the receiver. This is widely considered typical for Italian service rifles, often attributed to the chaotic management during war time.
