Cooey Model 64B semi-auto .22 with Metal magazine and Simmons 3-9x32 A/O Scope mounted

Made in Cobourg after Winchester purchased Cooey.

This is not your standard off the shelf old model 64. It has been lovingly reworked to a higher level.

Beautiful wood stock re-finished with english style red alkanet root linseed oil. 

Note that the cheap impressed checkering that they came with has been redone as carved checkering but with some errors.

Works flawlessly, the stud and screw that secure the stock and magazine holder to the receiver have been re-threaded with 5/16-32UNEF Tap and Die set and then threaded together with a dab of jb-weld to ensure a firm build to stop the typical looseness that eventually happens in these semi-automatic rifles.

Barrel blue is a bit mottled. Bore is very bright and shows no lead during recent cleaning.

Has the Simmons 3-9x32 A/O 22 MAG scope with full up/down and left/right zeroing and advanced optic coatings is around $90 by itself.

Also have a Model 64A, 3 more metal metal magazines and spare parts in other listings. Will make a deal for a single buyer. Note all 5 metal magazines work with either rifle.
