All serial numbers match (other than rear sight - this is a result of the 1896 -> 1911 conversion process and is mismatched on every single rifle of this pattern

P stamped (privatization)  - this indicated that the rifle was sold out of the Swiss Army, along with a 1963 date.

It has a tag behind the buttplate with the name and address of the soldier that carried this rifle.
