Winchester Model 1894 30wcf (30-30) saddle ring carbine from 1915, part of the Royal Navy contract inspected and delivered to the UK by Canada. 5000 1894s were apart of the contract, after the war these rifles were surplus and sold to the public in the 20s. Very good condition, excellent bore and action is very crisp. Missing the saddle ring, missing ladder bar and ladder screw- can be sourced from US suppliers. SRC stock has wear at action and hairline crack at right side. Typical wear and tare, was a working gun, carried more than it was shot. Dents and dings in stocks, fewer than average though, has two holes on underside of stock for a sling... These were functional tools back in the day and not always seen as the treasures we see them as today.
