This Cooey model 82 was manufactured for training the Cnd. Troops in WWII & the cadets following the war. The stock is stamped with the serial # on the handgrip butt and the Cnd. Broad arrow is stamped on the top of the receiver. The Cooey adjustable rear peep sight is in place and the steel blank required when the sight is off is included) The little bolt fastening the mid section barrel band is a replacement, all other screws are original. The wood has been re-finished in a medium gloss, there are no cracks or holes in it, the bore is bright with no rust or pitting, The rifle loads, fires and ejects perfectly.
