A great starter collection for a PCMR collector - with the rare Sterling Silver Lapel Badge. The cap badge (and all items) are original. 30-30 has PCMR marks on stock - but as with most which were used after the war in the thick brush of the West Coast.

Waited four years to find the lapel pin and six months to get the hat pin/badge. Rare and beautiful. Just would love a license plate and maybe a medal. One day …

Not selling off pieces of the collection, the only reduction would be the Queenstown Ranger shoulder and hat pins.

There is debate about the connections between Queenstown and Pacific Coast - in both circumstances they were trained in guerilla war (using local men or soldiers of fortune). Some say the Pacific Coast reference to “Rangers” is an homage to the original Roger’s Rangers. In WWII - the PCMR were barely a few thousand bad-ass locals and hunters that came together to learn how to learn to live ‘rough’ should a Japanese invasion come and how they could operate independently as guerillas.

For the gun - Nothing but aesthetic scratches and marks; no cracks in the stock or issue with the receiver and cycling.

Cash only, but don’t mind a minor trade to help with cash and trade combo. WWII guns are what I’m looking for - sniper included.

In person sale only, Lakeshore and Yonge Street area, Harbourfront Hotel (across the road). Required RCMP certificate to confirm that we both have valid PALs.
