Danish Krag-Jorgensen excellent shape.

I think this is an unissued Danish Krag with serial number in the 7000s. All matching numbers. 
That makes it a very early second year of production example. 
This gun was owned by a friend's father (a Dane) and when my friend immigrated here from Denmark he imported the gun. This was probably about 50 years ago now. 
It is missing the trigger guard and one screw for the sling. 
The butt stock steel plate had some corrosion on it. It was cleaned and lubed. 
fortunately the Krag was mass produced in other variants so the repair parts will be readily available. 
I would call this firearm museum quality and I doubt that there is a better one out there. 
My friend passed away in his 80s about 10 years ago. I believe this to be essentially  a one family gun from 135 year ago. 
Im sure you know Krags if you are looking at this and I don't need to go on about this first variant with a 4 digit serial number. 
Except for the couple of issues which can be perfectly remedied, this is one amazing survivor!
