*Please read carefully* Truly one for your collection! NOT your average run of the mill SKS! 1954 Russian SKS.. built in the IZHEVSK factory (for 2 years ONLY 1953-54). These account for less than 10% of all SKS that were built.
This one is all numbers matching including the stock (serial number still visible). The magazine is forced matched serialized/stamped. The stock has very minor handling marks (which is normal for milsurp rifles). The previous owner removed the shellac and finished it in tung oil. Also it retains all the original bluing (not the "BBQ paint" finish). Still has the cleaning kit in the butt stock and comes with an original sling.
The only reason for selling is that it's surplus to my needs. Looking for possible trades, cash or both. Let me know what you have.. the worst I can say is "No thanks"
