For sale is a Chinese Type 56 SKS in the parade “honor guard” configuration, serial B0955. The rifle is all matching except the magazine; the fixed mag is stamped WJ, commonly seen as shorthand for WuJing (武警)—China’s People’s Armed Police—adding a neat security-forces connection to an already striking chrome-finished SKS. The metal is fully chromed and in excellent condition, catching the light the way these ceremonial rifles are meant to, while the matching stock shows honest, slightly rough wear that underscores its age and character without detracting from function.
Mechanically sound and exactly what you want in a collectible-grade shooter: vivid chrome, crisp markings, and the distinctive parade profile that sets it apart from a standard blued Type 56. Provenance to a specific unit isn’t claimed (as is typical), so value it for the configuration, the WJ-marked magazine, and the near-complete matching numbers. If you enjoy SKS history with a ceremonial twist, this is a tidy, eye-catching example.
I have not fired it—bought, cleaned, and stored. The bore is shiny, rifling is sharp, and the bolt face is excellent. Still has quite a bit of cosmoline in it that would need to be cleaned.
