Selling my Winchester 94 Pre 64 1943 Pacific Coast Militia Ranger (PCMR) lever action rifle. The PCMR was active in BC during WWII as a backup force to defend the Canadian Pacific Coast from possible Japanese invasion. By the end of the war, there were about 2000 Winchester 94 PCMR were made. Only about 1000 were left and the rest were destroyed after service.

The one I have is possibly used for hunting purposes after the war. The previous owner drilled the side of the rifle for a scope mount (unfortunately). The butt stock has cracks. There were some minor pittings on the surface when I bought the rifle but now brushed and cleaned. Bluing is not as good anymore due to its age and used by the previous owner. However, the rifle is still in shooter condition. The rifling is strong and has lots of barrel life. The PCMR mark on the receiver. The original handguard is in very good condition.

To preserve the rifle in shooter condition, I installed brand-new Boyd Hardwood Stock to swap the original butt stock and handguard from wear and tear (New and original stocks are included). I fired about 100 rounds with this rifle without any problem. The rifle is capable of doing 3 shots of 2-inch groupings at 100 yd with Hornady Evolution ammo. I also ordered some spare screws, springs, and pins as backup for the rifle. Overall, it is a good shooter and a cool piece of Canadian WWII history.

The rifle is for pickup and drop off in Metro Vancouver area only. Feel free to message me on Gunpost or text 778-386-6102 if interested. Thank you.
