1950’s Canadian built Essential Agencies Limited 303 Carbine. These were originally designed for the Canadian Air Force as a survival rifle issued on aircraft operating over northern Canada. Later were issued to our Rangers patrolling the remote North. They were so popular EAL sold a version to the Canadian public.
Basically a No4 Enfield derivative using the same receiver but in a light weight rifle destined to be carried more than shot. Uses standard No4 magazines.
The original “ buy Canadian “ rifle ! This one is equipped with a nice period correct Lyman peep sight.
Original stock finish and bluing. No cracks or major dings.
