Here is the write up and history on these rifles:
Flaig's Custom Rifles, operated by brothers Edwin, Charles, and Alfred Flaig from 1935 to the 1970s/80s in Millvale, Pennsylvania, was a renowned shop producing high-quality custom rifles, often built on Mauser actions. Famous for importing Ferlach guns, they specialized in customizing rifles with expert inletting and premium barrels.
The Flaig brothers focused on building accurate rifles, frequently using FN or military Mauser actions and quality wood stocks.
They were known to use Douglas premium barrels, often featuring detailed work like fluted barrels and excellent inletting.
Often marked with "Flaig's" or sometimes "Flags," these rifles are highly regarded for accuracy and were popular in the post-WWII era.
There are some good youtube Videos on these If curious, this rifle for its time and craftsmanship were done very well.
