1934 BannerK - Standard Modell - Mauser - (K98 - K98K precursor)

Up for sale a really incredible and rare German model 98. This is a Mauser Standard Modell ‘Banner K’ from 1934. Basically a commercial precursor to the K98k, this specific variant was order by various security services within the Nazi state. Think police, SA, railway guards, postal/communications security. 

This particular example was most likely a police rifle and comes with original police bayonet and police pommel. 

All matching, no issues, never messed with. A fantastic collector grade example of a rare and interesting Nazi era rifle.
