A very nice 1908 Swedish Carl Gustaf FSR-96 (equivalent to the CMP program rifles in the U.S.) fitted with a Soderin sight. There are many Swedish Mausers on the market advertised as “matching,” but they often have mismatched internal parts, and in some cases the “matching numbers” were clearly force-matched or crudely engraved by Bubba.
This example is truly 100% all-matching, inside and out, including:
- Bolt components: bolt handle, cocking piece, bolt sleeve, safety, and firing pin;
- Receiver & metal parts: receiver, barrel, butt plate, magazine floorplate, front and rear barrel bands, and trigger guard assembly;
- Wood furniture: upper handguard and stock;
The bore is excellent, with strong rifling, no pitting, and a bright mirror-like finish.
