American enfeild P17 custom, Shilen Match Barrel, Boyds stock, Chambered in 30-06

This rifle has been brought back from the grave. Having a shot out barrel before hand and the stock being  cracked it has been fitted with a shilen target barrel turned down to a medium heavy contour. 
It’s still chambered in 30-06 this super reliable and smooth control round feed bolt gun won’t let you down. 
The barrel has been threaded for 5/8thx24 threading and currently has a radial break. 
sitting in a brand new Boyds walnut stock it looks like a new rifle again. All work was done by a gunsmith in enderby B.C. This was one of my grandfathers projects bringing another classic back to life. Take it target shooting or hunting this rig is sure to hit its mark sporting a match grade barrel.
Still running a factory trigger with some polish work. 
Grate deal for anyone wanting to get into an awesome all around rifle, the barrel and stock alone cost more than I’m asking for it, that’s not including the gunsmiths fees. 

comes with a set of rings and bases. I also have a handfull of scopes that could be worked into the deal if you need one for it. 

The rifle does have one flaw, as shown in photos you can see some slight blueing defects along where the barrel has been turned down to below a full target contour, nothing major but it’s worth pointing out. That being said I hope it can find a good home for somebody to take out and enjoy this legendary bolt action.
