1943 BSA built No 4 Mk1 rifle. The butt socket is marked M47 with no trailing letter to denote the factory location.
Stocked in CE1963 marked Beech furniture with a brass butt plate. The rifle presents in a wartime paint finish with all English parts. Unlike some wartime rifles, this one has a five groove barrel.
A F marked Mk 1 rear sight and English marked bands and front sight protector are present. The serial numbers on the bolt and receiver match.
Comes with a sling, English manufactured bayonet, oiler and two chargers.
