1970 Century commemorative Marlin 39M - Mountie 22 LR  Octagon barrel, brass hardware and inlays, takedown rifle -  A true rare beautiful collectable Marlin.

A vintage Marlin 22 LR rifle in nearly brand-new condition. JM stamped and original New Haven, CT Marlin made.  Comes in original box with sleeve. A time period Marlin JM hammer spur installed. This is a takedown version, making it easier for cleaning and storage. 

Takes 15 rounds in the tubular magazine, has a super smooth action.  If it has been fired, it hasn't been much.  Bore is perfect and clean. The bluing and metal are in very fine condition -virtually little to no wear, only a bit on the hammer as usual  -even from dry firing. The wood is in near perfect condition with no scratches or blemishes.  

A beautiful valuable collectable gun to pass to the next generation.
