I am offering a rarely seen Amberg Arsenal Mauser 71/84 rifle. Last year of manufacture 1888, issued as Bavarian 12th Infantry Regiment, Replacement Battalion, 1st Company, Weapon #30. Imperial Second German Reich’s first repeating rifle that bridges the gap between breach loading single shot rifle and the later famous Gew 88. Chambered in 43 Mauser (11x60mm Mauser).
This particular rifle has an exceptionally nice walnut stock that is 100% tiger striped from muzzle all the way to the butt, on both sides. All visible serial number matches except middle band.
