Looking to sell my Lithgow enfeild. It looks like this rifle went through a refurbishment at some point, having the orginal serial number crossed out, and a new one put on, as well as having the III* crossed out, and a III stamped beside it. My guess is to downgraded from a MK3* to a regular Mk3.
Butt stock is the long pattren.
All serial numbers match the reciver, though the butt stock matches the crossed out serial number on the reciver, and the rest of the parts match the new serial number.
