1963 Chinese Type 56 SKS – Factory /26\ – All Numbers Matching
Excellent example of an early-production Chinese Type 56 SKS manufactured at the renowned Factory /26\ (Jianshe Arsenal). Serial number 8113504, dating it to 1963 production.
This is an all-numbers-matching rifle, including the receiver and major serialized components, with the original matching wood stock. It retains the desirable early-production features including the blade bayonet, milled components, long barrel lug and machined bolt carrier.
Overall condition is excellent for its age, with strong bluing, very nice original wood and an excellent bright bore with strong rifling. These earlier Factory 26 rifles were produced during a period known for extensive machining and robust military construction, before many of the later production simplifications.
A very nice collector-grade example that hasn’t been modified or sporterized. Built exceptionally solidly, and with proper care this is the type of military rifle that should remain serviceable for generations.
A great addition for an SKS or Cold War military rifle collector.
