Ruger No3 30-40 Krag - Rare

1976 Ruger No 3 in 30-40 Krag. The No3 in 30-40 Krag is considered rare and this particular one also happens to be a 1976 200yr liberty model with the American Liberty engraving on the barrel which adds to the rarity. This is a very desirable and sought out rifle south of the border. It has a 22" barrel and open sights and also has factory drilled/tapped barrel for scope mounts. This rifle is in very nice condition with rich bluing and shiny bore with little use and is a wonderful rifle. There are a few small marks on the finish and stock from over the years. The No3 models came with a barrel band around the fore-stock. The front stock was frequently shortened to remove the band. The front stock on this rifle was professionally modified to get rid of the needless and ugly barrel band and is bedded at front end. Price is $1900 obo. Shipping and insurance is extra if required.
