Savage 10 FCM Scout 308 Win

Older model Savage 10 Scout FCM in 308 Win.

Has Williams peep sight and a hooded front sight post, a B-Square scout mount, and I had bought Burris Xtreme Tactical Steel Bases, but never installed them. This rifle will come with a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x32 long eye relief scope, and Vortex rings. I did put a small amount of blue Loctite on there to secure the mount.

I have 3 magazines for this rifle, 4 rounds fit in each. They don’t always drop out freely, but that can probably be fixed. You can just top load, or push the mag for it to drop. With this setup, it’s totally clear to do so.  You press the button on the right side of the stock to release the mag.

Inexpensive Cabela’s sling attached, also holds 3 shells.

Nice smooth action. Has been hunted, but no rust spots or dings. 3 position safety, 20” pencil barrel, oversized bolt handle.

This gun likes to be fairly clean, but shoots well, especially with Norma Whitetail 150 grain.

Weighs 8 pounds unloaded, as you see it, and a total length of 39 & 3/4”.
