I have a beautiful 1903A3 Smith Carona for sale. Barrel dated April 1943. Bore is 10/10, looks brand new. Rifle sits in a "C" type stock, the more desirable between the straight, and scant styles seen on other rifles. Stock is from Numerich Gun Parts in NY. Sling is an original suprlus, marked MRT dated March 1984. Definitely has the worn leather feel to it. Rifle shoots 1.3" groups with handloads at 100 yards.
Rear action has the correct rear screw guard bushing to prevent splitting, a common theme in all 1903's. Rifle also has WW2 sight hood. Included in the deal is 60 rounds of PPU 150gr FMJ, 20 rounds of 150 Federal soft points, approximately 160 Sierra/Hornady projectiles, and approximately 120 of once fired brass.
Would trade for a K98 plus or minus cash depending on condition. A MAS 36, or PU Sniper rifle plus cash. Might be interested in other milsurps.
