Swedish Mauser 6.5x55 Sporter with Side Mount and Scope

NO TRADES. 1902 manufactured M96 Carl Gustaf Swedish Mauser rifle sporterized with a side mount scope base with rings and scope in 6.5x55. Barrel is 27 1/2 inches long with and excellent, shiny and sharp bore. Bluing is good/presentable showing age and light wear.  Comes with sporterized 2 position flip up rear sight. Side scope mount is complete and rock solid. Rifle shoots well and is accurate. Stock is a sporterized stock with the pistol grip area grafted in which was common back in the day. Scope is a Japanese Bushnell Banner 2.4X fixed with command post recticle and clear optics. Works well and suits the rifle combo. I’m sure there is a good interest in the optic mount with so many similar rifles coming into Canada through TRADEX/Intersurplus.
