French MLE Gras 1874 M80 M14 in 8mm Lebel

Here is a French MLE Gras 1874 rifle built by Étienne. It has been upgraded to M14 standard to adopt 8mm Lebel smokeless cartridges. Serial number mismatched. She is in general good condition with some handling marks. No live rust or pitting on the metal, no crack or major damage on the wood. I am no expert of French arms so let the images do the talking. I haven’t shot it but action works well. Bore is surprisingly well, shinning and sharp like new. Comes with origin leather sling You can see more pics in my Flicker album below.
