Springfield Krag 1898 Full Wood Military Rifle

Here is a fair condition US Springfield 1898 Krag rifle. Caliber 30-40 Krag. Metal in good shape, blue finish condition good. No rust or pitting I cans see. Full wood configuration, wood has cracks on both sides behind receiver and a splice in the middle of barrel bands. Wrist proof mark is barely visible. Action works well. There is a slight bulge close to muzzle end under front sight. You can’t see from out side but there is a ring in the bore. I have consulted gunsmith and been told safety won’t be affected. It could drop accuracy but can be fixed by a 1-2 inch counter boring. Rest of the bore is in great shape with sharp clean rifling. Asking $1450, shipping on buyer if needed.
