Looking to downgrade my collection so putting this nice Chinese Mauser rifle based on German Gehwer 98 Standardmodell for sale. Also known as Chiang Kai-Shek or Zhongzheng Rifle, sibling to the famous Kar 98K rifle made in Nazi German during WWii
This is a post-production Chinese Mauser (aka Type 24 )rifle that is made in Kuwangtung Arsenal of China (No. 41 Arsenal). Couldn’t locate the exact date of manufacturing but based on my research on it’s serial, it is assumed to be somewhere around 1940-1942.
The rifle is in good condition overall. Some minor cracks could be found on stock. Prefer local sale but can be shipped at buyers expense. PAL must be verified prior to sale. More pics can be sent upon request
