If you have a space to fill in your collection this is the rifle you need. It checks all the boxes, full mag, octagon barrel, excellent bore, good solid wood (with the expected bumps, bruises and small imperfections) from a rifle that has been hunted, the bolt has lots of original blue, the barrel has mostly turned to a blue, brown patina, with the mag still holding lots of colour. The receiver has mostly silvered, showing muted case colours. Very difficult to get decent pics of the case colours as they a very light. Cody serial number search brings it back as photographed. Manufactured in 1895, antique in the U.S.
