Selling my good used condition Winchester model 670A chambered in 30-06 Springfield. The 670A was made between 1972 and 1979 and has the Model 70 action including the three position, bolt mounted safety.
The rifle features a reliable push feed action with a three position bolt mounted safety (like the Model 70). The refinished hardwood stock has a blind magazine and a new Decelerator butt pad. The original old style sling swivels are on the stock. The 22" barrel has a threaded muzzle with a BOSS CR installed and the BOSS brake is included. It is also factory drilled and tapped for iron sights with filler screws present.
The bore is clean with good rifling. The wood and metal finish are very good. See the photo for a mark on the barrel just fore of the forestock. Everything functions as it should.
The package includes the Leupold STD RVR/F bases, medium height Leupold STD 1" rings. The scope is a Japan made Bausch and Lomb Elite 3000 3-9x40 with a 1" tube and gloss finish.
I recently mounted the bases/rings/scope and sighted it in today, September 8. The target in the photos was shot at 100 yards with the BOSS CR using Remington Corelokt 150g PSP.
