This is a gorgeous Eddystone made P17 rifle used by US Army in WWI. It has serial number on receiver only like most of the US military rifles. Other parts are unnumbered but all made by Eddystone except front band is from Winchester. Metal parts in great condition with blue finish, only some patina around frond sight. Military markings clear visible on receiver, bolt and safety knob etc. Wood is excellent with a faint factory stamp on the left side of the wrist. Barrel marked flame bomb 6-18 indicates MFD is June 1918. I haven’t shot it but cycles very well. Bore is good with some shine and sharp rifling. See Flicker album for all details. It’s an uncommon piece of history especially in such good condition. Asking $1600, shipping extra.
