Extremely accurate and consistently so.
It is a carbine just shy of 19" barrel
Technically likely considered a 20" barrel, but measures under 19" from receiver to muzzle.

Vintage Tasco 3-9x40 scope Made in Japan and Kwik-Site Savage 99 Specific See thru bases- Scope has wear, but functions well.
Does have the notorious slight wood crack on left side of reciever, as so many do from regular cleaning routine by having to remove the stock, but it is stable. Easy to make dissapear if so inclined.
Awesome gun that performs well in the bush, is light and super accurate. Pretty neat carbine for the bush.
