Price is plus shipping. Would consider a trade plus cash on my end for a Mosin Sniper, WW1 era 1903 Springfield, or Canadian Military model 1917.
Selling my 1917 Spandau Gewehr 98 I got a while back I bought in hopes of finding a stock for it and turning it into a shooter, but plans have changed. I believe it's sitting in a Czech VZ98/22 stock. The standard Gew98 handguard won't work on this stock.
I have put 20 or 25 rounds thought it. Barrel has enough muzzle wear to take a bullet, but seems to have decent rifling the rest of the way. Stock seems ok, someone shimmed the recoil lug with a beer/pop can, but it never moved during my shooting. Everything seems to work as it should, but basically all mismatch parts. All metal parts minus the butt swivel and Band retainers are Imperial German marked! Only the barrel, receiver, and front sight match. Bolt matches itself.
Can provide more pictures if needed.
