Beautifully rebuilt 1886. Factory letter states it started it's life as a 40-65 octagon barrel, but not a deluxe model. The upgraded XXX grade wood is perfect, the case hardening is stunning, and the action is smooth. Serial number in the 62000 range puts it build date at 1891. I don't believe it has been fired since restoration.
