This rifle is a very nice piece of Canadian history. It has markings for the 37th Battalion, 122nd Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force, M&D, and the Dominion of Canada. Could have seen the Boer war but It's difficult to find any info.
Unfortunately the bore is poor otherwise good mechanical condition, matching bolt, missing original rear volley screw.
Includes model 1888 bayonet.
