This gun is iconic. The .44 WCF (Winchester Center Fire), commonly known as the .44-40 Winchester, is an iconic 1873 cartridge renowned as the "gun that won the West.
The serial number dates this rifle to being manufactured in 1910 in New Haven Connecticut. You read that right, 1910.
Sure you see Winchesters that are old all the time but this one has the bullet mold with it. It wasn't originally sold with the rifle, it was purchased as an add-on by the owner making this a solid acquisition to any collection.
Rifling is in great condition.
