Up for sale is a fairly typical example of a Steyr made 1886 Kropatschek. Serial numbers matching, bolt is mismatched as is typical on these. Bore is very nice, shiny and with strong rifling. Rifle has a repaired crack on the toe of the stock (glued and pinned) and is solid. Overall would make a type example or great shooter for someone looking for an example of this interesting design. Tube magazine and chambered in 8x56 Portuguese. Also can come with the correct sword bayonet for an additional 75$
