1997 Grade 1 Winchester 52 Reproduction. First year of limited production by Miroku of Japan for the legendary 52B 22LR target rifle.
Nicely figured & checkered walnut stock with an ebony fore tip features a barrel tension/pressure screw & the 24'' barrel has a match chamber.
Still have the original box & the 1997 Winchester rifle / shotgun model pamphlet.
Lawyer pin & original trigger spring were removed before it left the shop & my long retired & greatly missed local gunsmith made the adjustable Micro Motion trigger into a very crisp 2 lb trigger for smallbore metallic silhouette.
She's not a safe queen - it has some light scratches / small marks & dings on the stock from almost 30 years of faithful service on the range & in the field.
Some blueing loss / light scratches on the bolt handle, muzzle, bottom metal & the sling swivels. Nothing terrible, just honest wear & tear. I tried to show the imperfections in the photos. More photos to your email.
Only selling as I'm at the age where I appreciate carbines with synthetic stocks - it's getting too heavy for me to use in the offhand silhouette matches.
$1500 for the rifle, one original Winchester mag & two hard to find Wisner mags, Weaver bases, factory box & pamphlet. Shipping & insurance on the buyer.
The olde timey Lyman 20X Permacentre scope with fine crosshair & Burris low rings could be included for $300. I put them on when I retired it from silhouette to mimic the appearance of original 52's.
I looked long & hard for a crystal clear one in this condition & I'm not too keen to part with.
Thanks for looking!
