Up for sale is a Breda M1 Garand built by Breda Meccanica Romana, Italy, produced for the Danish military (FKF contract).

Markings / Contract Details

• Left receiver leg clearly marked: “BREDA MECCANICA ROMANA – ITALIA”
• Receiver heel marked with Danish crown over FKF, “Nr.” and serial BMR 8819 (visible in photos)
• Correct Breda Italian manufacture with Danish FKF property stamp – a desirable contract variant for collectors

Condition

• Overall very good condition
• Metal finish is strong with only light handling wear; markings are crisp and legible
• Stock is solid with no major cracks or repairs, only normal handling marks for its age
• All parts fit tightly; a very clean example of a surplus contract Garand
