Winchester Model 1892 40 W.C.F. with full 24” Octagon barrel and ammo tube. Black powder or cowboy light smoke less loads only with lead bullets only as recommended by production date of 1896. Has the early production original plate. Model 1892-WINCHESTER- PAT. OCT.14. 1884. Receiver has a grey/brown patina and the barrel and tube still show some original blueing. Firearm is classed as an unaltered 130 year old firearm. Wood has some normal wear and tear from its original use. It has not been repaired in anyway. Bore is clean with sharp rifling grooves. Front and rear sights are original. Action is smooth with limited wear. Hammer has safety feature. Firearm was shipped from the warehouse on December 18, 1900. Order number 85155. Have letter from Buffalo Bill Center of the West/ Cody Firearms Museum. Dated June 05, 2026. Not classified as an antique firearm in Canada.
