This is a very nice model 68. This rifle features a simple shot manually-cocked action, a solid walnut stock, with an adjustable rear peep sight. The Winchester Model 68 was a single-shot, bolt-action .22 caliber rimfire rifle sold from 1934 to 1945 by Winchester Repeating Arms Company. It has a low value leather sling on it.
I have cleaned and oiled this and everything seems to work as it should. Barrel (inside and out) are in great condition as are the peep sights. There are some marks on the wood as shown in the pictures.
These are quite valuable and are selling well over $500 USD online. This one has some marks so I have priced accordingly.
